

What You'll DoYou will partner with your account managers to help drive strategic deals in the midsize and above market for Cisco. These segments have a balance of customers across commercial and service provider sectors and is a dynamic and extremely fast-paced environment. You will act as aThe expectation is that you will use Cisco technology to balance in-person and virtual meetings with stakeholders, customers and partners.Who You'll Work WithWho You AreOur minimum requirements for this role:* Previous technical sales experience as pre-sales systems engineer of at least 3 years’ experience.
* Have proven experience in carrying and achieving large sales quotas.
* Some form ofant certifications are preferred and strongly encouraged.
* Be able to demonstrate a software sales background and software architectural knowledge.
* Be a self-starter. Have strongg skills and ability to assess a problem and figure out an effective course of action with minimal guidance.
* Demonstrated experience in data-driven decision making and technical sales strategy creation.
* Business-level English and language of the hub in which you’re based. Willing to interact daily with multinational stakeholders in either language. Fluency in an additional widely spoken language inEMEAis always a plus.* A degree in physical sciences, engineering or mathematics.
* You will need high emotional intelligence and a strong focus on soft-skills development.

Support the technical sales process
Assist sales in technical prospecting to help uncover opportunities

Participate as a member of the Solutions Engineering teams

Help establish and enhance demonstration material showcasing the solution

Interface with Marketing
Support trade shows and networking events
Support ThousandEyes Connect events
Contribute to blog and social media posts
Suggest and contribute to white-papers and case-studies
Interface with Product Management and Engineering
Provide solution feedback from hands-on use and customer interaction
Provide solution suggestions and enhancements to drive solution strategy
Participate, drive and provide feedback on internal and external solution beta programs
Interface with Customer Success
Coordinate with Customer Success in providing post-sales support (training, deployment, support, etc.)
Encourage and guide customers to utilize Customer Success as an extension of their NOC to help ensure success
Qualifications
5-8 years of Solutions Engineering Experience
Excellent presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Pre-sales experience required
Strong understanding of application and network protocols (e.g., HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, BGP)
Knowledge of application and network infrastructures
Knowledge of unified communications
Experience with application and network performance analysis solutions
