Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting in the month/quarter/year-end Close processes to ensure timely and accurate Close and financial reports preparation.
• Supporting to oversee financial and accounting process and work closely together with finance teams and GBS teams, with a high focus on controlling balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries:
• Comply with KPI’s and OPIs as defined by GBS.
• Drive compliance in all finance-related matters and ensure compliance with Corporate and local policies, statutory requirements and GAAP principles.
• Support internal and external audits and audit-related accounting matters (SOX, CA&C).
• Participate in implementing quality requirements in all aspects of the financial process.
• Ensure all activities comply with legal demands, ethical standards and the Internal Quality.
• Oversee Intercompany activities for the entities in your scope, including cross charge and netting preparation.
• Supporting to process monthly journal entries related to intercompany activities.

About the Role

You will collaborate with internal teams, external advisors, and tax authorities, gaining hands-on experience with VAT reporting processes in an international and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review VAT returns, Intrastat reports, EC Sales Lists, and other indirect tax filings.
• Support VAT reconciliations, refund claims, and audits.
• Monitor regulatory changes and help improve compliance processes.
• Assist in automation and standardization of VAT reporting (SAP DRC & ERP systems).
• Act as a contact point for finance, AP/AR teams, and external advisors.
• Contribute to creating documentation, SOPs, and training for the new Centre of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of VAT compliance experience (multinational/shared service environment preferred).
• Knowledge of European VAT regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.); SAP DRC is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English (Polish or another European language is a plus).

About the role:

• Performs a variety of complex duties in general accounting such as analyzing accounts, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and performing the monthly financial close and consolidation, external and internal reporting, monitoring SOX/internal control requirements, support audits, maintain fixed assets and CIP, and maintaining & performing software interfaces with SAPS/4HANA andCadency.

• Daily booking of bank statements (manually and with RPA solution)
• Daily clearing of AR invoices via manual/automatic application of customer remittance advice
• Oversee cash application process and work closely with GBS Credit Collection team, with a high focus on accuracy
• Investigate and resolve unapplied payments in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain process description and desktop procedure for cash application processes
• Optimize current cash application process in coordination with stakeholders
• Support internal and external audits and audit-related Accounts Receivable matters
• Identify and implement process improvement and standardization.
• Ensure all activities comply with legal demands, ethical standards and the Internal Quality Management System

Qualifications:

• Bachelor ‘s degree required
• 1-3 years of experience in Cash Application/Accounts receivable in high volume environment is an asset
• Good Accounting background and attention to details
• Demonstrate analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• SAP experience is preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and outlook

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or a related role within the finance or accounting sector, preferably in C2C area
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Power BI
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SAP, Excel, Tableau, Celonis or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
