About the Role:

Under supervisory direction, assist in the daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety).

Your Responsibilities Include:

• May execute the following responsibilities:
• Works cooperatively with R&D, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure project success.
• Identifies and implements improvements (e.g., yields, processes, and productivity).
• Undertakes and successfully completes simple or basic product support tasks to include any of the following: verifying specifications, maintaining product/process documentation, testing processes, equipment, raw materials and product, and validating equipment processes.
• Assists in inventing/creating concepts and designs/approaches for new processes/test methods.
• Designs, procures, and fabricates basic equipment, tooling and fixtures.
• Designs and coordinates rudimentary engineering tests and experiments.
• Summarizes, analyzes, and provides recommendations from test results.
• Performs troubleshooting on existing products/process problems as related to design, material, or processes.
• Prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate results to the technical community.
• Assists in the identification and implementation of production goals.
• Trains operators/technicians on new processes and/or test procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Biomedical, Chemistry, Industrial, Electrical Industrial Maintenance.
• English Level: B2(70% - 79%).
• Able to work during shift C (10:00 pm to 6:00 am)

Your Responsibilities Include:

• May execute the following responsibilities:
• Identify Manufacturing process defects (scrap, nonconforming material, customer complaints) by dispositioning non-conforming material, assisting in identification of primary root causes and understanding corrective and preventative actions. May be responsible for working with process owner to bound product stops and document release criteria.
• Understanding of product quality plans, documents and systems by reviewing product specifications, quality specifications, and working with quality systems. May be responsible for learning risk analyses and FMEAs.
• Monitoring Systems by becoming familiar with systems applications and critical process steps; and through familiarization with methods used to reduce process variation.
• Becomes familiar with Product/Process improvement efforts by understanding current quality metric data and learning the various analysis methods used to enhance sustaining product design and new product development
• Learns Quality Tools & Training Materials by gaining knowledge of prevalent tools used and by reviewing & utilizing available training materials.
• Checks and provides support in the execution and investigation of CAPAs, NCEP, Failure Mode Investigations, etc.
• Evaluates new equipment and processes and participates in the transfer of new products.
• Get involve in various stages of equipment and processes validations: Run and / or review and / or approve reports I.Q 's, O.Q' s and P.Q 's as well as any other document relating to validation.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and protocols
• Assure that all laboratory equipment is in compliance to perform the analysis activities (calibration, safety, cleanness).
• Document investigation findings in analysis report on GCS2
• Become a trainer for the Software related with complaints handling process (GCS2), as required.
• Work with Research and Development to efficiently qualify new components; assist suppliers in creating of statistical sampling plans, inspection methodology and quality procedures for new components
• Responsible for reviewing and developing process validation protocols and reports. Support other functional areas during the validation activities
• Support environmental monitoring, microbiology and product testing as in approved procedures and protocols.

About the role

This position is the entry level to professional engineering work. This is a developmental position working under close supervision and receiving specific and detailed instructions as to required tasks and results expected. Area of work involves processes related to qualification and assessment of supplied materials.

Job responsibilities include:

• Performs a variety of routine technical tasks which provide experience and familiarization with the engineering methods, practices, products and programs of the materials function. Examples include completion of First Article reports, CMA forms, NCEP investigations and creation of Change Requests. This position allows time and latitude to learn the basic business processes, and assumes that guidance from more senior engineering staff, managers and mentors will be provided to aid development.
• Supports more senior engineers with project tasks including any of the following: writing and/or verifying specifications for raw materials & manufacturing supplies; creation of inspection procedures; development of test methods.
• Interfaces with suppliers with support from senior engineering staff and commodity team members to support investigation of supplied material issues or supply constraints.
• Execute NCEP investigations to determine assignable causes for defective components at receiving inspection. Support NCEP investigations where defects in supplied materials are identified elsewhere in production. Uses statistical tools with support from senior engineering staff. Demonstrates basic report writing skill.
• Assists in troubleshooting processes on-site at supplier facility, generally under supervision or to a plan agreed to be senior engineering staff
• May Interact regularly with component suppliers via email or telephone. Review and interpret information provided by suppliers for engineering accuracy and adherence to global material standard designations, and use own technical expertise and other internal experts to assess if gaps in the material information provided can be filled through further discovery or analysis.
• May Work with little to no supervisory work direction to obtain or create complete and accurate material composition information on assigned components. Utilize corporate software tools to query the global material database to search for information. Consistently create and maintain highly accurate product data at all times.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with internal team members about the status of assigned component assessments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Materials or related field
• No previous experience required
• Advanced English level (B2/70-79%)
