Description and Requirements

Strategic Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical vision and architecture for AI-powered solutions
- Drive technology strategy and roadmap for Generative AI initiatives
- Establish technical standards and best practices for AI engineering
- Contribute to architectural decisions for complex AI implementations
- Guide the integration of emerging technologies into existing systems
- Lead solution design reviews and technical governance
Technical Leadership Responsibilities:
- Provide architectural oversight for full-stack AI applications
- Guide the implementation of cloud-native architectures on AWS
- Establish standards for LLM integration using AWS Bedrock
- Oversee the development of AI pipelines using Langchain
- Direct the implementation of security and compliance measures
- Lead technical debt reduction initiatives
- Mentor and guide senior developers and engineers
Practice Development responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain technical standards and documentation
- Create architectural blueprints and reference implementations
- Contribute to technical strategy and innovation initiatives
- Lead technical discovery and proof-of-concept projects
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- 12+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years in technical leadership roles
- Deep expertise in cloud architecture, preferably AWS
- Strong background in:
- Modern AI/ML technologies and frameworks
- Cloud-native application development
- Distributed systems and microservices
- Security architecture and best practices
Technical Expertise Required:
Cloud & Infrastructure:
- Expert knowledge of AWS services, especially:
- EKS and Kubernetes orchestration
- Container services and microservices
- RDS and database optimization
- IAM and security services
- Cloud cost optimization
AI/ML Technologies:
- Deep understanding of:
- LLM architectures and implementations
- AWS Bedrock and similar AI services
- Langchain and LLM frameworks
- Vector databases and embeddings
- ML deployment patterns
Development & Architecture:
Expertise in:
- Full-stack development (React, FastAPI)
- Python ecosystem for AI/ML
- RESTful API design
- Authentication systems (OKTA)
- Database design and optimization
- CI/CD and DevOps practices
Nice to have skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, etc.)
- Experience with AI research and implementation
