Key Responsibilities
Perform algorithmic C&F for an algorithmic module, including problem analysis, data gathering, literature review, concept selection and evaluation and implementation constrains
Construct a algorithmic work plan for modules owned by him
Understand and act according to system and applicative environment regarding module development. Take part in system definitions
Act as a technical tutor and instructor regarding own algorithmic modules. Guide algorithm developers working with him on same module

Engage in customer facing activities (SoW / H2H) to understand algorithmic limitations and deliver corresponding solutions with HQ timely

Qualifications

Working cooperation with algorithm development group in PDC (Process Diagnostic Control) Applied Materials Israel & Applied Materials India team
Algorithm integration in large systems considering HW and SW aspects

Develop state of the art algorithms in the fields of Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision, etc.

3. Algorithm Support at Customer Site
Application support for algorithm-induced challenges, such as defect detection error, matching & correlation issues in a fleet of tools, etc. at customer site
Providing the solution on algo issues – Diagnostics(R/C) and troubleshooting
Guiding new implemented algo feature and providing training for account Apps
Algo bug fixing – Support for worldwide reported bug fixing as a member of algo developer
Communicate issues and feedback to PDC Algo group and get inputs for troubleshooting at customer site
Demonstrate excellent communication skills to improve customer satisfaction
Requirements:
1. Master’s degree and above in MSc in exact sciences (Computer Science/AppliedEng.) from a known University, PhD - advantage
2. Strong theoretical foundation and >3year proven hands-on experience asAlgorithm developer
3. Theoretical and hands-on experience in Deep Learning -Must
4. Strong skills in developing in Python -

5. Thorough understanding of probability and statistics
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
7. Fluent English – verbal and text
