Responsibilities

• Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components

• Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair

• Identifies and corrects errors

• Observes all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment

• Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices

• Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept

• Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly

• Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries

• Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components

• Enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details

• May perform computer programming, repair or software

• Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform built, test and repair. Inspects parts for defects

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain all methods, operating sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies
• Work with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and new products, and manage manufacturing engineering projects as needed
• Lead team in using design for excellence (DFx) principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing and/or product costs, and to improve product quality
• Determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements
• Develop and use test procedures, evaluate test results, and evaluate work methods, procedures, and policies
• Determine root causes and corrective actions for issues that arise during assembly or system testing; perform Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis; and provide reports as needed
• Mentor and train junior level engineers

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 4-7 years of experience
• Demonstrated conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday problem-solving on the job

Key Responsibilities

• Improve current generation plasma activation technology for hybrid bonding and develop next generation plasma technology​ and process

• Design and execute experiments to study various types of plasma and their processes to understand their interaction with bonding surfaces. Analyze data to identify the key and common factor(s) of plasma that contributes to the strongest activation for hybrid bonding.

• Optimize process and/ or drive CIPs to improve current generation plasma chamber. Identify the most suitable plasma technology and conduct CnF tests to define requirements for next generation chamber.

• Deep dive with local & global engineering teams to prototype next gen chamber based on defined requirements. Evaluate proto chamber for hybrid bonding process, propose innovative solutions, and drive engineering optimization.

• Plasma technology & process subject-matter expect to guide account/field teams on tough plasma technical issues in terms of process and physics.

Functional Knowledge

• Good understanding of plasma physics and processes is essential.

• Practical background on any types of plasma technology and its characterization is needed.

• Familiar with common plasma characterization tools (such as OES, ion sensor, RGA, thickness measurement etc.) and methodology.

Role Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Senior Field Service Engineers [Customer Engineers] in installing, maintaining, and upgrading customer equipment
