• Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components.

• Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair. Identifies and corrects errors.

• Observes all safety standards. Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment. Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept. Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly. Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components. Enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details. May perform computer programming, repair or software

• Details finished work. Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform built, test and repair. Inspects parts for defects. Troubleshoots and improves processes.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment

• Ability to follow standard operation procedures (written and verbal)

• Knowledge of basic hand tools

• Must be open to Mon - Fri work week (4pm - 1.30am shift). Transport and shift allowance provided.

• Develops new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products. Involvement may begin at any step from pilot plant to full-scale manufacturing

• Maintain rigorous documentation of process development activities, experiments, and outcomes.

• Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment between engineering, marketing, and business objectives.

• Drive adoption of new technologies through demos, evaluations, joint development programs, and tool qualifications.

• Manage and develop a team of Process Engineers, ensuring training, certification, and performance excellence.

• Responsible for demand planning and financial forecasting for PE activities.

• Contribute to business plans and resource allocation to meet organizational priorities.

• Demonstrate advanced integration knowledge across multiple processes and technologies.

• Resolve complex technical and operational issues using structured problem-solving approaches.

Requirements

• PhD/ Master/ Bachelor in Engineering studies

• 7 years and above of process-related experiences in semiconductor industry with at least 3 years in leadership roles.

• Prior work experiences in a technical support or field service role will be an added advantage

• Strong technical background in semiconductor processes and equipment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer-facing interactions.

• Ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Performs standard Tier I procedures including wafer measurement.

Performs preventative maintenance and wet cleans independently. Assists senior engineers with corrective maintenance as needed.

Disassembles, cleans and rebuilds kits as part of kit management quality.

Learns and applies diagnostic techniques and use of documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers.

Able to diagnose and resolve basic technical problems.

Complies with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrates safety as a value.

What We Offer

As a, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will work closely with engineers and scientists to execute experiments, collect data, and maintain equipment in a cleanroom environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about advancing cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting engineer to work on developing process technology for advanced semiconductor processes

• Responsible for performing basic recipe and CH troubleshooting during process runs and implement changes based on directions from the engineer

• Owner for the execution of module process, data collection for measurement & inspection and sharing of data with the engineer

• Interact with internal and external CH and metrology tool owners to align for tool time, execute process sequence and collect data to feedback to engineer

• Occasional over-time to support process engineering support activities

Requirements:

• ITE/ Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Materials Science) or related field.

• > 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or R&D environment preferred.

• Familiarity with cleanroom operations and semiconductor processing equipment is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.

• Basic understanding of process control and data analysis.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Must be able to commit Monday - Friday rotating shift (9am - 6pm/ 4pm - 11pm).
