Interacts with customers, company sales and /or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales support functions. Provides application and technical assistance and advice to sales force to support the sale and implementation of Applied Materials’ products and services. Application expert, capable of executing on site and in-house high level application activities Typically required to apply software, algorithms, and physics skills to support specialized and/or complex requirements during product implementation and consulting services. Provides the necessary support for product and system installation system Prepare a demo proposal / plan and execute demos and other in-house application tasks. Assists with product presentations and sales efforts withtechnical/application

Functional Knowledge

• Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in Factory Automation Software in the Full Automation and Dispatching discipline and broadens capabilities
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge in execution and optimization of the Factory Production Planning, Scheduling and Dispatching
• General Software Programming experience and background is required
• Experience with Windows, Unix & Linux OS (Operating System) is preferred

Business Expertise

• Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
• Prior knowledge & experience in Applied APF RTD® & Activity Manager™ products is required
• Prior knowledge & experience in discrete event simulation tools, such as Applied AutoSched AP is preferred.
• Prior working experience with any Semiconductor Fab’s MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and EAP (Equipment Application Program) will be added advantage

• Creates, plans, and performs a variety of software analysis, design, development, code, code review, documentation, integration, test and product assurance tasks.
• Contributes to the development of engineering design models and develops programs to enhance, implement and support project/system functionality for the assigned technical effort
• Participate in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of applications
• Revise and refine systems as required.
• Ensures technical outcomes are consistent with established engineering principles and practices and that customer and company technical, system, performance, and quality requirements are met.
• Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications.
• Support product application and solution roll out for onsite customers activity globally.

Functional Knowledge

• Frequently in English Writing, Listening, Speaking is a must and mandarin is a plus.
• Experiences in Web development like Angular, React, Nodejs, Django and etc...
• Experiences in C++, and object-oriented programming is an advantages.
• skills and experience in Linux operating systems, networking, shell scripting, Jenkins and docker.
• Experience in Linux shell scripting and scripting languages, such as Python.
