- Bachelor degree in environmental science, chemical or environmental engineering, or related field of study

- Extensive experience in large-scale software development with proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript).

- AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IoT Core, SageMaker, Kinesis).
- AWS Professional-level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, Data Analytics Specialty) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: IoT integration, data and AI strategy (including machine learning and predictive analytics), operational advisory, or energy and utilities domain expertise.
- Strong financial modeling and market research skills, with the ability to conduct operational impact assessments.
- Energy and utilities domain expertise (e.g., grid operations, SCADA systems, regulatory frameworks)

- Knowledge of data engineering pipelines, cloud solutions, ETL management, databases, visualizations and analytical platforms
