In this role, you drive the strategic acquisition of Project Kuiper’s ground infrastructure sites. A day in the life- Work with key internal stakeholders (e.g. Business and Economic Development teams, Construction, Networking, Legal, Tax, Regulatory) to determine our site acquisition strategy and due diligence requirements and related vendor and contract needs as we enter new geographic areas.
- Solicit and evaluate proposals for site acquisition services (including hosting, turnkey development, and due diligence) and select top tier vendors to execute on our strategy.

- 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Key job responsibilities

• Deep dive technical solutions that encompass advanced technology applications, robotic and automation integration, and vendor commissioning content and expectations.
• Conduct design reviews and support execution efforts between internal teams and outside vendors including network architecture, equipment specifications, and site layout.
• Proficiency with concepts like system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making.
• Operational knowledge of common enterprise switching and routing platforms.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP networking, routing, Network Security architecture, and core technologies (such as IP, TCP, load balancers, firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP).
• Knowledge of fail over protection and design for IT infrastructure.

- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
