An AWS Technical Account Manager is a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for our Enterprise Support customers. As a trusted advisor you’ll have a direct impact in helping our customers gain the most value from cloud technology. You’ll craft and execute strategies to drive our customers’ adoption and use of AWS services. This includes a range of products including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT and many more.
Our Technical Account Managers partner with some of the most iconic businesses in the country. These range from rising startups building their business from scratch through to large enterprises going through significant transformation. You’ll provide advice on architecture, support strategy, project, and launch planning as well as ongoing operational issues.
Key job responsibilities
* You’ll build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer
* Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity
* Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
* Using your technical acumen and customer obsession, you’ll drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
* Consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives
* Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
* With a bias for action, you'll proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
* Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, monthly & quarterly metrics, detailed pre-launch planning
* Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud
* Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops, immersion days, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

- Professional experience with cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform etc.
- Programming or scripting skills with a combination of Java, Python Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP
- Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, DevOps Engineer etc.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration / Deployment, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef is a plus

Basic Qualifications

* Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
* Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
* Technical Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent) and/or relevant tech experience.
* Fluency in English and Polish is essential.


Preferred Qualifications

* Experience designing, building, refactoring or operating large scale and impactful IT systems - either on premises or in the cloud
* Working knowledge of cloud native architectures
* Knowledge of a modern programming language (Python, JavaScript, Go, .Net, Java, etc.) and/or scripting, Infrastructure as Code etc.
* Experience working in a customer-facing role or a role which involved public speaking
AWS certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) or other industry certification

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience in a similar role as a Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, Cloud Architect etc.
* Experience in operational parameters and troubleshooting for two (2) or more of the following technical domains: Compute / Storage / Networking / CDN /Databases / DevOps / Big Data and Analytics / Security / Applications Development in a distributed systems environment / Scripting & Automation / Container technologies / AI,ML
* Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate to small and large audiences dealing with Senior customer stakeholders at Director / VP / C-level
* Ability to juggle tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
* Languages : English and one of the following (German/Russian/Ukrainian/Greek) are highly preffered


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Proficiency in professional oral and written communication, with a record of presenting to audiences containing one or more decision-makers
* Track record in influencing management in technical, operational and strategic decisions
* Experience in operational services or support environment
* Hands-on experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings
