About the Role
- Maintaining and monthly closing of general ledger in compliance with US-GAAP
- Preparing of monthly close package and account reconciliations
- Preparing of statutory annual financial statements according to German GAAP
- Contributing to integration activities including implementation of new ERP Oracle Fusion
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitating ad-hoc analysis and projects, as required
About You
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Tax or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Accounting
- Comprehensive knowledge of German GAAP, VAT, income taxes
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented but solution driven with the ability to work independently
- Not afraid of changes with the ability to adapt
- Eager to learn and develop, continuously seeking for opportunity to improve productivity and quality
- A team player, adept at building relationships across the organization
- Ability to work in an international matrix environment, with a strong support attitude
- Ability to work in remote teams
- Fluent in English and German
