As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 4+ years’ experience designing & developing high quality software using OO technology & design patterns

• 4+ years’ experience with Programming and Debugging in C, C++

• 2+ years' experience with Object-Oriented High-Performance Python development

• 2+ years’ experience with application of ML algorithms to solve problems

• Proven expertise in development and debugging tools such as gdb, VS, Jupyter notebook

• In depth understanding of algorithms, data structure, embedded software architecture

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. bridging, routing), especially on Linux

• 1+ experience in mentoring and leading junior engineers

• Demonstrated experience in understanding legacy software systems and collaborating with cross functional teams during software development lifecycle

Level of Responsibility:

• Works independently with minimal supervision.

• Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.
