Key Responsibilities:

  • • Coordinate and oversee the managers responsible for the daily operations of the treasury back office, including debt, derivatives, safekeeping, money movement, position management, margining, and collateral management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the treasury, including the Chief Investment Officer, regulatory change, risk functions, and head of product and program management.
  • Manage a team of approximately 50 professionals, focusing on reporting, process formalization and automation, controls, and people development.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with external partners and stakeholders.


- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of experience in corporate treasury operations within a large financial institution
- Five or more years of management experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of interest rate risk, asset liability management, and capital management
- Familiarity with swaps, repos, FHLB, and discount window operations
- Proven experience in managing large teams and complex projects
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Familiarity with technology platforms supporting treasury operations, particularly fixed income systems
- Experience with agile development methods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $165,325.00 - $194,500.00 - $213,950.00
