Description
In this position, you will have an opportunity to work with iPhone/iPad Systems QA on developing systematic tools with physical automation and deep learning models for failure mode analysis with an emphasis on hardware-centric software risks for new and shipping products.- Design and develop systematic tools/algorithm with physical automation and software framework for top system feature and scenarios validation like Camera, Display.- Identify, reproduce, isolate, and document issues found, and see issues to closure.
Minimum Qualifications
- Enrolled in Bachelors/Masters studies in Computer Science, Electrical/Optical Engineering or related fields.
- Fluency and literacy English communication skills in both written and verbal.
- Engineering fundamentals: Software Engineering, Embedded and Mobile systems, Statistics.
- Can work full-time for a minimum of 12-weeks between Fall 2024 and Summer 2025.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong coding skills with extensive experience in Python.
- Enthusiasm for computer vision techniques, with theoretical background in machine learning.
- Experience with deep learning models training with popular frameworks like Pytorch, Tensorflow, Caffe and model deployment in real-world applications.
- iOS Application development experience.
- Academic publication record or technical blog posts.
- Participation in coding competitions or machine learning challenges.
