This position is responsible for marketing and advertising strategies across Taiwan that will increase Uber's market presence in the United States. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Uber Advertising and based in West Virginia, the Head Uber Advertising Taiwan role will function as the primary contact from Uber in Taiwan. The ideal candidate is an experienced executive with considerable experience working in the technology industry and leading successful ad campaigns in the past. The person should also have a considerable knowledge of the Taiwanese market and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers alike. The successful candidate must have a passion for and be highly knowledgeable in the fields of digital marketing, analytics, product/market fit, and UX design. They must be an excellent communicator, with excellent written and verbal skills. The Head of Uber Advertising Taiwan must have the ability to think critically on complex projects and quickly identify solutions. The person should be a sharp innovator and be able to identify opportunities to transform Uber's marketing strategies and campaigns in Taiwan. The candidate should also have excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead and motivate a distributed team, as well as work with multiple stakeholders. The role requires excellent networking and relationship-building abilities within the industry, as well as the ability to craft and deliver effective presentation and demo pitched to clients. The Head of Uber Advertising Taiwan will be based in West Virginia and will also have the opportunity to travel to Taiwan to liaise with teams there. In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with the Global Head of Uber Advertising while also taking the lead on all marketing and advertising campaigns targeted at the Taiwanese audience.
