Department Overview
As part of US Finance – Decision Science team, this analyst supports Credit Cards and Deposit business and provides in-depth data-driven financial analysis and forecasting to facilitate investment decisioning process. This role involves a variety of specialized financial tasks such as deriving meaningful insights from historical performance data to drive effective decision making, conducting product profitability analysis and various ad-hoc projects. Role requires creativity, innovation, having ability to learn and apply skills and new knowledge to improving existing and designing new processes and tools.
Job Description
• Apply understanding of respective business strategies to produce relevant and meaningful data analysis and materials to support the creation and maturation of business goals and objectives.
• Develop analysis and proper dashboards to illustrate business trends and identify areas of business opportunities.
• Produce insights and recommend business actions to support business strategy and/or solve business problems.
• Execute on data requests accurately and within a timely manner
• Build business requirements and facilitate project execution to develop insights.
• Contribute to the identification of key performance indicators
• Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency
• Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners, program, and product managers
Requirements
Undergraduate degree or specialization in one of the fields below
3 + years of relevant experience from a information management, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background or Graduate Degree and 1-3 years relevant experience.
Proficient PC skills including a strong competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and a variety of analytical and reporting software packages
Strong knowledge of programing languages (i.e. SAS/SQL/R, Visual Basic, Python)
Strong analytical and program solving skills are required to interpret data and draw conclusions
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Qualifications
Preferred:
• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
• 5+ years relevant experience
• In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, financial model-building and interpretive statistics with strong technical skills (Excel, SAS/SQL, Alteryx, Tableau)
• Able to effectively interpret information, select appropriate techniques, take independent action, and communicate findings & recommendations to achieve objectives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication / presentation abilities (written and verbal). Strong Powerpoint skills.

Pay Range:

$76,128 – $124,800 annually
