Department OverviewAs part of US Finance – Decision Science team, this analyst supports Credit Cards and Deposit business and provides in-depth data-driven financial analysis and forecasting to facilitate investment decisioning process. This role involves a variety of specialized financial tasks such as deriving meaningful insights from historical performance data to drive effective decision making, conducting product profitability analysis and various ad-hoc projects. Role requires creativity, innovation, having ability to learn and apply skills and new knowledge to improving existing and designing new processes and tools.
Job Description• Apply understanding of respective business strategies to produce relevant and meaningful data analysis and materials to support the creation and maturation of business goals and objectives.
• Develop analysis and proper dashboards to illustrate business trends and identify areas of business opportunities.
• Produce insights and recommend business actions to support business strategy and/or solve business problems.
• Execute on data requests accurately and within a timely manner
• Build business requirements and facilitate project execution to develop insights.
• Contribute to the identification of key performance indicators
• Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency
• Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners, program, and product managers
RequirementsUndergraduate degree or specialization in one of the fields below
3 + years of relevant experience from a information management, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background or Graduate Degree and 1-3 years relevant experience.
Proficient PC skills including a strong competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and a variety of analytical and reporting software packages
Strong knowledge of programing languages (i.e. SAS/SQL/R, Visual Basic, Python)
Strong analytical and program solving skills are required to interpret data and draw conclusions
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
QualificationsPreferred:
• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
• 5+ years relevant experience
• In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, financial model-building and interpretive statistics with strong technical skills (Excel, SAS/SQL, Alteryx, Tableau)
• Able to effectively interpret information, select appropriate techniques, take independent action, and communicate findings & recommendations to achieve objectives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication / presentation abilities (written and verbal). Strong Powerpoint skills.
Pay Range:$76,128 – $124,800 annually
