About the Role

Based out of Taipei office and reporting to the Financial Business Group, Senior Manager for APAC/EMEA - this is a high-impact strategy and business operations role to shape and grow Uber’s financial services business with strong initiatives mapped to Uber’s global payments strategy.

  • Support in the review and prioritization of financial product initiatives across APAC and EMEA by conducting market and competitive research to help shape our Financial Services vision.
  • Own all aspects of building new earner financial products in APAC including but not limited to business case building through discovery conversations, voice of customer surveys with earners, cost planning and forecasting, RFP issuance and governance, marketing and feedback loop and post launch governance for new earner financial products in APAC.
  • Conduct analysis of product, program and partnership performance with cross-functional stakeholders internally and externally. Leverage data to help steer business decisions.
  • Report and analyze variances between actuals, forecast, and plan and build/discuss potential action plans with cross-functional stakeholders and the leadership.

The Experience You'll Bring

  • 5+ years experience within banking, e-commerce and/or consulting in strategy, analytics or operations preferred.
  • Learning team oriented and collaborative, with exceptional consensus building and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business needs, identify solutions and strong analytical skills to model customer adoption and usage, assess financial and business impact on the strategic initiatives.
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively at multiple levels and across disciplines internally and externally.
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives and requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment whilst working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong change management skills, adept at working in an environment of shifting priorities, constant technological changes and increasingly stringent regulatory requirements.
  • Problem solving - Being able to solve issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic, common sense and data. Identifying the root cause of a problem as opposed to focusing on the symptoms.
  • SQL knowledge is a good plus point.
