What you'll be doing:

  • Establish, devise, and guide initiatives sponsored by DOE and NSF, from concept to proposal and throughout implementation, reporting, and conclusion.

  • Build and cultivate connections with DOE/NSF program officers, national labs, universities, industry consortia, and internal partners.

  • Translate agency technical priorities and funding solicitations into actionable program objectives, internal resource plans, and partner engagements.

  • Evaluate budgets, schedules, achievements, objectives, risk mitigation and compliance (including grants/contracts terms and conditions).

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, product, marketing, legal, finance, and partners to complete program goals.

  • Track, measure and report program metrics (e.g., technology adoption, research outcomes, key performance indicators) and present updates to senior leadership.

  • Ensure program alignment with NVIDIA’s business strategy, federal funding landscape, and customer/partner needs.

  • Ensure governance and compliance (e.g., DEIA, data sharing, IP/tech transfer, federal reporting).

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • 12+ years of program management, ideally in technology, research grants/contract environment, or government/academic partnerships.

  • Detailed proficiency in coordinating multi-stakeholder, multi-year initiatives with federal agencies, universities, or similarly intricate ecosystems.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with senior technical and non-technical collaborators.

  • Excellent project management skills: budget, schedule, risk, scope control.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with evolving priorities.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Advanced knowledge in the technical domain acquired through a higher education qualification or relevant professional background.

  • Prior experience in projects funded by DOE/NSF, collaborations with national laboratories, and academic research partnerships.

  • Proficiency in groundbreaking computing technologies such as High-Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Quantum systems, data center setups, or similar platforms.

  • Familiarity with federal grant/contract regulations, technology transfer/IP frameworks, and research ecosystems.

  • Shown ability to influence across functions, negotiate partnership terms, and deliver high-impact results.
