You will be part of a team responsible for designing and developing tests, contributing to testing frameworks, and managing test execution pipelines. Our portfolio of products is designed to build and manage highly scalable Kubernetes infrastructure. The team focuses on test automation and automated workflows, emphasising integrating testing into CI/CD release pipelines.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:

• Contributing to developing the tests, supporting frameworks and CI/CT/CD pipelines validating an application platform built on Kubernetes
• Contributing towards building the roadmap for enterprise features expected from a Kubernetes-based Application Platform
• Validating and testing cloud-native technologies and architectures
• Developing best practices, knowledge sharing, and mentoring
• Collaborating with engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Working in an environment that fosters innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience in developing test automation solutions using widely accepted frameworks
• Have experience with operating or testing highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable production services using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
• Have experience leveraging CI/CD tools to achieve good software development practices
• Be familiar using infrastructure as code tools like Crossplane, Pulumi, Terraform or Ansible
• Have experience with Pytest, Selenium, or other test automation and frameworks and comfortability leveraging Python or Bash for scripting
• Have debugging and troubleshooting skills for resolving test-related issues in complex platforms.
• Understand networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP) and knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
